Letter of complaint

Dear Sir/Madam,

My husband and I have just returned from one of your “special city tours” in Amsterdam (August 31 – September 10) and I am writing to complain about the holiday we were given.

To begin with, the hotel was not at all what we had been led to expect from your brochure. You advertise air-conditioned rooms with mini bar and private bathroom, but what we got was a tiny room with none of the promised facilities. The room only had a washbasin and we had to share the sanitary installations with five other parties on our floor. The temperature was 90° every day, so you can imagine the comforts of a room with nothing but the cold water tub for cooling. As for the hotel staff, whenever we called down to the reception there was simply no one around. There did not even seem to be any cleaning staff since our beds were made once during the whole of our stay.
Added to all this, the tourist guide included in your offer had fallen ill shortly before we arrived and there was obviously nobody in charge to organise a suitable substitute. After five days a courier turned up who spoke only fragmentary English and we had difficulties understanding only half of what he said.
As you will realise, we are highly dissatisfied with the holiday your company provided and we do not see why we should put up with it. We expect a letter of explanation as well as a substantial refund of our money. Unless this is forthcoming, we shall have to take matters a step further.

England is the largest and the richest country of Great Britain. The capital of England is London but there are other large industrial cities, such as Birmingham, Liverpool, Manchester and other famous and interesting cities such as York, Chester, Oxford and Cambridge. 

Stonehenge is one of the most famous prehistoric places in the world. This ancient circle of stones stands in Southwest England. It measures 80 metres across and made with massive blocks of stone up to four metres high. Why it was built is a mystery.

Not far from Stonehenge stands Salisbury Cathedral. It is a splendid example of an English Gothic Cathedral; inside there is one of four copies of Magna Charta and the oldest clock in England. 

Chester is very important town in the north-west of England. In the past it used to be a Roman fort; its name comes from the Latin word castra, meaning "fortified camp". In Chester there is a famous museum which contains over 5000 ancient and modern toys.

Oxford is the home of the oldest university of England. The most famous college is Christ Church. It has a great hall which was built during the reign of Henry VIII and its chapel has become the Cathedral of Oxford. 

Cambridge is the home of Britain's second oldest university. 

York was the capital of Northern England. It is one of the best preserved medieval cities of Europe. It was built by Romans, conquered by Anglo-Saxons and ruled by the Vikings.         

Birmingham is often called the "City of 1,500 trades" because of the great variety of its industries.

I'd like to describe picture №2. The picture shows that woman stay next with the blacboard in the school. She is writing. The girl of years 20 - 30, not tall, a yellow shirt and with a short haircut. I don't like this picture. Because the woman a not pretty and I don't like it.

I would like to tell a small story about 4 friends. They decided to pack up and go to the beach. They put in the jeep products, boards and all the necessary beach stuff. They arrived at the beach. There was a huge wave, they were frightened, but back home did not go. And suddenly, their jeep
was attacked by a big wave. They sat in the car and were all very wet. They began to unfold, but the car got stuck in the sand. And suddenly they are doused by a huge wave, turned the car upside down. All were taken to the hospital, they had injuries to the head, body and neck. The car was taken to the dumpster. While the beach was closed. 

Russia is the largest country in the world. It has a long and interesting history. The country is famous for its numerous places of interest. The capital of Russia is Moscow, and it’s the biggest city in the country. Another big and famous city in Russia is Saint Petersburg. It has once been a capital of the country. These two cities have the majority of Russian sights. For example, the Kremlin, which is situated in the heart of Moscow, the Bolshoi Theater, which is also in Moscow and many others.

Also, tourists can take part in some authentic festivals when visiting these cities. Another famous sight in Russia is situated in the center of Asia. It’s called Altay. Many tourists want to see this amazing region, which is known for its crystal clear lakes, high mountains and other natural wonders. The deepest lake in the world, Baikal, is also situated in Russia, in the East Siberian region.
